Brooke Mazurkewich (she/her)
Operations Manager
Originally from Calgary, Brooke has been with Moving Forward since May 2022, starting as our Food Security Intern. Upon graduating in 2023 she became our first full time Operations Manager! Brooke majored in International Relations and Sociology, with a minor in Community-Engaged Learning. She brings a ton of skills and passion to the Co-operative and has become an important and well-loved member of the community. We feel so lucky to have her on board!

Amber MacDonald
INTERN
This is Amber, a 4th year Mount Allison University student with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Environmental Science who is our SEED Summer Operations Intern here at Station8. From a small town in Cape Breton NS Amber understands the importance of helping small communities like Dorchester. She is excited to meet everyone and be a part of the Dorchester Moving Forward Co-op team.

Sarah Prescott
INTERN
Sarah is a creative mind who brings to the team a ton of experience in a kitchen. She brings her love for people wherever she goes. Sarah graduated from Advanced Graphic Design in 2016. She moved to NB from Ontario six years ago and has enjoyed becoming part of the Maritime community. She belives that everyone deserves to be treated the same and recently switched from working with adictions to Station8.

Anna Parent
INTERN
Anna has joined us as the Operations Intern from MTA for the summer of 2025. She is a fourth year Biology student, minoring in Chemistry and is originally from Sussex, NB. Post grad, she is interested in pursuing research in the field of public health. Anna will be working on growing food and assisting in the operations of Station8. She understands the importance of working for and with a community and is thrilled to be a part of the Dorchester Moving forward Co-operative team!
