THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who came out to our amazing Soupfest on May 4th and a VERY special thank you to our soup cooks who made more than a dozen unbelievably delicious soups and chowders! The turnout surpassed our wildest dreams and we had soooo much fun seeing old friends and meeting new people! Soupfest was the first of many events we will be holding in our new commercial kitchen to bring people together to have fun and build a strong sense of community. So thank you to everyone who made this launch of the Station8 Community Food Hub such an amazing success! P.S. We raised over $2000 to buy a new Community Fridge so stay tuned for pics of that!

New Community Food Hub Announced!

In case you missed the good news, our Co-operative’s dream of establishing the Station8 Community Food Hub is becoming a reality thanks to a generous donation from Fredericton philanthropists Earl and Sandy Brewer! The larger garage on our property is undergoing transformation into an innovative hub, designed to include a commercial community kitchen, cold and dry storage, space for Teaching Kitchens and other programming, and much more! Thank you to the Brewers, Megan Mitton, and our countless other amazing partners for their support and to all those who attended our press conference November 10th.

There are LOTS of opportunities to get involved with our Food Security program so please contact us at programs@station8nb.ca or 506-334-8746 if you’d like to learn more about how you can help create a community where everyone has enough healthy food to eat!

Our Monthly Teaching Kitchens are so much fun!

Join us every month for an evening of fun, learning, and good food as we explore different cuisines and skills to create budget-friendly, nutritious meals!
